Why Safety Books Matter.
Compliance Made Simple
Safety books provide documented proof that your business follows workplace health and safety regulations. They create an auditable trail of permits, meetings, and risk assessments that demonstrate due diligence. When regulators or auditors visit, you have instant evidence that proper procedures were followed.
Protect Your Business
Clear records prevent costly disagreements about what was approved, who was present, or what work occurred. Duplicate copies give both parties matching documentation signed on site. When disputes arise months later, your records speak for themselves and protect your reputation and bottom line.
Keep Your Team Safe
Structured documentation ensures critical safety steps are never skipped or forgotten. Checklists and prompts guide workers through proper procedures before high risk work begins. Regular record keeping creates a safety culture where hazards are identified and controlled systematically, reducing incidents and injuries.
Save Time & Reduce Admin
Carbonless books eliminate scanning, photocopying, or rewriting information for multiple parties. Everyone gets an instant copy without extra admin work. The structured format means faster completion on site and less time spent chasing missing information or clarifying incomplete records later.

Frequently Asked Questions.
What is the difference between NCR & standard paper safety books?
NCR (No Carbon Required) books use carbonless paper that automatically transfers a handwritten entry to the duplicate copy beneath, without the need for carbon sheets. This makes them ideal for any record where you need to retain a copy on site and hand one to another party, such as delivery dockets, dayworks records, or labour hire sheets. Standard paper books do not produce a duplicate copy and are better suited to records that are kept in a single location, such as toolbox meeting minutes, site diaries, or SWMS documentation. The right choice depends on whether your process requires copies to be distributed at the point of entry.
What sizes are your safety books available in?
Safety books in the AAA Print Group range are available in A4 and A5 format depending on the book type. A4 books are suited to detailed documentation such as SWMS, JSA, and site diaries where more writing space is needed. A5 books are more compact and practical for use in the field, cab of a vehicle, or plant room where space is limited. The size of each book is listed on the individual product page, and the team can advise on the best format if you are unsure.
What is the difference between a taped spine & a coil bound safety book?
A taped spine book is bound along one edge with reinforced tape, keeping pages firmly together in a fixed order. This binding style is robust and well suited to books that are filled out sequentially and stored flat, such as delivery docket books and fatigue records. Coil bound books use a plastic spiral that runs along the spine, allowing pages to lay completely flat or fold back on themselves. This makes them easier to write in when resting on an uneven surface or working in a confined space, which is why the JSA and SWMS book uses coil binding. Both styles are durable and suited to site use.
Can safety books be customised with our company details and branding?
Yes. All safety books can be customised to include your company name, logo, and contact details. Beyond branding, the layout and content of each book can also be tailored to reflect your specific procedures, site requirements, and reporting format. This is particularly useful for businesses with consistent workflows across multiple sites or a large workforce, where a standardised custom book saves time and reduces errors. Contact the team to discuss your requirements and they can advise on quantities, turnaround, and design options.
