Community Engagement.
Doing Business Responsibly.
At AAA Print Group, we believe good business means more than quality products and fast turnaround times. It means considering the impact of our choices on people and the planet. Since 1976, we’ve built our reputation on reliability and service. Today, we’re equally focused on building a business that contributes positively to our community and environment.
From partnering with local social enterprises to choosing sustainably sourced materials and responsibly recycling our waste, we’re committed to making decisions that benefit more than just our bottom line. These aren’t marketing initiatives. They’re practical choices that reflect how we want to operate and the legacy we want to leave.
Social Impact.
AAA Print Group has partnered with Intelife, a social enterprise dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities, for over five years. The team at Intelife helps string our safety tags, supporting our production needs whilst providing meaningful employment to people living with a disability. This partnership allows us to maintain our high standards while creating genuine opportunities for Western Australians to develop skills, earn income, and contribute to their community. It’s a collaboration that makes our business stronger and our impact more meaningful.
Environmental Wellbeing.
We’re committed to responsible environmental practices, which is why we source FSC certified paper for our products. The Forest Stewardship Council develops standards for responsible forestry management through rigorous consultation processes. FSC works to promote responsible forestry, conserve biological diversity, and protect old growth forests through setting international standards for responsible forest management and practices through collaborative consultation.
When you choose FSC certified products from AAA Print Group, you’re supporting forests that are managed for the benefit of people, wildlife, and the environment.
Responsible Disposal.
We take responsibility for our environmental footprint beyond production. All toner and ink cartridges used in our facility are responsibly recycled through Cartridge World, where they’re converted into valuable materials including metal appliances, recycled ink, synthetic timbers, paving surfaces, and road materials. This keeps harmful waste out of landfill and gives cartridge components new life in everyday products. Simple actions like cartridge recycling add up to meaningful environmental impact when practised consistently.
Frequently Asked Questions.
What is FSC certification & why does it matter?
FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification means the paper comes from responsibly managed forests that meet strict environmental and social standards. It ensures forests are harvested in ways that preserve biodiversity, protect indigenous rights, and maintain ecological processes. When you buy FSC certified products, you’re supporting sustainable forestry practices that protect forests for future generations whilst meeting today’s needs.
How does your partnership with Intelife work?
Intelife team members work at their facility to string our safety tags, which involves attaching the string to each tag. We provide the materials and specifications, and their skilled team completes this important production step. This arrangement gives us reliable, quality work whilst providing Intelife participants with meaningful paid employment. It’s been a successful partnership for over five years, and we’re proud to support their mission.
What happens to the recycled printer cartridges?
After collection, cartridges go through a detailed recycling process. Usable components are refurbished for reuse. Materials that can’t be refurbished are broken down and processed into raw materials. Plastics become synthetic timbers and paving materials. Metals are melted down for appliances. Even the ink is recovered and recycled. This comprehensive approach ensures minimal waste reaches landfill.
Can customers recycle products purchased from AAA Print Group?
Most of our paper products, including safety tags and books, can be recycled through standard paper recycling streams once they’ve reached the end of their useful life. Items with plastic components, like laminated tags, should be disposed of according to your local council guidelines. Check with your waste management provider for specific disposal instructions in your area.
