Corflute is a lightweight, rigid plastic sheet made from fluted polypropylene — similar in structure to cardboard but weatherproof and far more durable. It is one of the most widely used substrates in Australian signage, particularly for real estate signs, construction site signage, event directional signs, and short to medium term outdoor display. Corflute is cost effective, easy to handle, and available in a range of thicknesses. It is not suited to permanent long term outdoor use, where a more durable substrate such as aluminium composite panel would be a better choice.

Yes. Many of our signage products are specifically designed for outdoor environments. Corflute is a lightweight, weatherproof option suited to short to medium term outdoor display. Aluminium composite panels offer greater rigidity and durability for long term outdoor use. Reinforced vinyl and mesh banners are ideal for outdoor events, fencing, and scaffolding. All outdoor inks are UV resistant to reduce fading in direct sunlight. If you are unsure which substrate is most appropriate for your environment or how long the sign needs to last, let us know and we will recommend the right material.

Sign size depends on the viewing distance, the amount of information you need to display, and the space available. As a general guide, text on a sign should be legible from the furthest point a viewer is likely to stand. For footpath or shopfront signs, A1 or A0 is typically the minimum for clear readability at a distance. For counter or table top displays where customers are close, A5 or A4 is usually sufficient. If you are unsure, tell us where the sign will be placed and we can recommend a size that works for the environment.

AAA Print Group offers two types of asset decals: vinyl adhesive and magnetic. Vinyl adhesive decals bond permanently to the surface of the equipment and are suited to assets that require a fixed, long term identification label. Magnetic decals attach without adhesive, making them easy to reposition or transfer between assets as needed. Both types are available in yellow and white reflective material, and in three standard sizes: small (350 x 180mm), medium (500 x 250mm), and large (600 x 300mm).

Yes. Each decal is printed with the specific asset code you provide, so every piece of equipment in your fleet receives its own unique identifier. Beyond the asset number, decals can also be customised to include your company name, logo, or any other information relevant to your asset management system. Contact the team with your requirements and they can confirm the best layout for your needs.

The right choice depends on how permanently you need the decal attached. Vinyl adhesive decals are suited to equipment with a stable, long term asset number that is unlikely to change. Once applied to a clean surface, they bond firmly and are built to withstand outdoor conditions. Magnetic decals are better suited to assets that may be reassigned, reused across different pieces of equipment, or where you need the flexibility to update identifiers without leaving residue. Both options use the same reflective material and are available in the same sizes and colours, so the decision comes down to how your asset management system operates.
