Choosing the Right Size.

Getting the size right comes down to viewing distance. Our 225mm x 300mm signs work perfectly for close quarters like offices and small workshops where people will be within a couple of metres. The 300mm x 450mm size suits most warehouse and factory applications where workers spot signs from 3 to 5 metres away. The large 400mm x 600mm size at site entrances, outdoor areas, or anywhere visibility from 5 to 10 metres matters. When you’re unsure, slightly bigger is usually safer, as larger signs create more impact in busy environments.

ACM is our premium safety sign material, built to last in the toughest Australian conditions. The sandwich construction combines two thin aluminium sheets with a solid polyethylene core, creating a rigid, flat panel that won’t warp, bend, or deteriorate over time. The aluminium face makes for high quality printing, keeping colours vibrant and text crisp even after years of exposure to intense sun. We recommend ACM for any outdoor application where you need long term durability, particularly in exposed locations like site entrances, perimeter fencing, or areas with high UV exposure.

Corflute Signs.

Corflute offers fantastic value for temporary signage, indoor applications, or situations where you need to move signs around regularly. This lightweight corrugated plastic material is easy to handle, simple to install, and surprisingly tough for its weight. We print on Corflute using UV resistant inks that keep your safety messages clear and readable, making it perfect for short to medium term outdoor use or permanent indoor installations. The fluted plastic construction gives it decent rigidity whilst staying light enough that one person can easily carry and mount larger signs.

It is weather resistant, UV stable, and built to last five to ten years outdoors, making it the right choice for permanent site signage, perimeter fencing, and areas with heavy sun exposure. Corflute is a lightweight corrugated plastic that suits temporary outdoor use or permanent indoor installations, with a typical outdoor lifespan of one to two years. Both materials are printed with UV resistant inks that keep text and symbols sharp and readable.

Yes. All safety signs printed by AAA Print Group comply with AS 1319, the Australian standard governing safety signs for the occupational environment. This means the colours, symbols, and formatting on our signs meet the requirements set by Safe Work Australia. Whether you need prohibition signs, hazard warnings, mandatory PPE signs, or emergency markers, you can be confident the finished product will satisfy WHS obligations and pass a workplace audit without issue.

AAA Print Group prints both standard and fully custom safety signs. Standard signs such as No Entry, High Voltage, and Danger Asbestos are available as ready to order items with established AS 1319 compliant layouts. If your workplace has a specific hazard, restricted area, or procedural requirement that a standard sign does not cover, the team can design a custom sign to suit. Custom signs follow the same material and size options as standard stock, and the same compliance considerations apply.
